Christen Mulingani

With over 20 years’ experience within private practice, Christen is an expert in Landlord and Tenant law and has engaged in a wide range of commercial property matters, from portfolio management through to investment and development work.

Christen spent several years working as part of an award-winning Corporate Occupiers Team at Eversheds (now Eversheds Sutherland), where she had portfolio responsibility for one of the “big five” high street banks as well as several high-end retailers, holiday site owners and the MOD.

Before that, she spent two years working for a statutory undertaker on the compulsory purchase of over 500 miles of, largely agricultural, land for the laying of four major pipelines. As a result, Christen is particularly adept at dealing with unregistered land and loves to get her hands on some old property deeds, the earliest she has translated dates back to 1666.

Christen achieved partnership in 2010 and now works on a consultancy basis, bringing her expertise to SMEs and startup businesses, priding herself on her plain English approach and taking the time to make sure her clients have a full understanding of their transaction and its commercial implications rather than just “getting it done”.
