Laura Alliss
Consultant Solicitor

Laura Alliss is a Consultant Solicitor specialising in contentious probate, wills and trusts.
Since qualifying in 2013 Laura has become an expert in this nice and complex area of law. In 2019 Laura moved to a national law firm to set up and head a contentious probate department and now works as a consultant solicitor assisting clients across the country.
Recognised as a specialist in her field by the Association of Contentious Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), and the Court of Protection Practitioners Association (CoPPA), Laura provides expert guidance and representation to her clients.
Laura acts for private individuals, charities and trust corporations and has extensive experience of dealing with the wide range of disputes which can arise in respect of a will, trust or the administration of an estate.
If you are a beneficiary, executor or trustee and find yourself involved in a dispute; are concerned with the validity of a will and wish to bring a challenge; or you have not been left reasonable financial provision and want to bring a claim to vary the terms of a will, Laura is here to guide you through the process.
If you would like to speak to Laura regarding a dispute, please get in touch as time is always of the essence with contentious probate disputes. There are very short time limits for bringing some claims, and if advice is sought at the early stages, a resolution can often be achieved without the need for court proceedings.
