Marie trained as a barrister and was called to the Bar in 1999. She then trained at Nelsons Solicitors where she obtained dual qualification as a solicitor in 2002. Marie then joined Richard Nelson LLP in 2003 where she has been a Partner since 2009 and the Managing Partner since 2015.
Jacqui is a Partner and heads up our criminal defence team. She has worked in the Criminal Justice System for over 30 years. Her experience includes being the Director for Crime at one of the biggest criminal defence firms in the UK.
Jayne joined Richard Nelson LLP in 2018 as a Partner and Head of the Employment team. She trained at a top 100 law firm. Prior to joining us, Jayne was a partner and head of the employment department at Chattertons then at Cleggs Solicitors.
Lucie qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and worked for several years defending large and complex fraud cases. Lucie joined Richard Nelson LLP in 2019 and became a Partner in 2021.

Abbie joined in 2025 as a Paralegal after completing her Law LLB studies at the University of Liverpool, and supports our Crime team.
Alan joined Richard Nelson LLP in 2024. He specialises in dispute resolution both in the UK and in claims involving assets and trusts based in offshore jurisdictions.

Charles Wilson is a highly experienced Private Client solicitor. He practised in the North West of England for over 40 years. He was one of three partners in an old established practice that merged with a local practice to form a five partner firm which was ultimately acquired by a national firm in 2019.
Craig joined Richard Nelson LLP in April 2021. Prior to joining he had been a Managing Director of JWK Legal Group Limited until its acquisition by national law firm, Simpson Millar LLP. He was a Partner of Simpson Millar LLP and became national chair of the Dispute Resolution and Employment departments of that firm.
