Ann has been involved with charitable organizations throughout her long career and has set up a number of Family Advice Clinics with Citizen’s Advice. Ann has been a Board Member with Gateshead Carer’s Association for several years who provide an excellent service and unparalleled support to unpaid carers in the borough.
For the past few years Ann has been fundraising through sponsored walks, for Alzheimer’s Society in memory of her beloved mother.
