Sarrah Kerslake is a highly experienced solicitor with nearly twenty years’ expertise spanning criminal defence, prosecution, regulatory enforcement, and coronial law. She is known for delivering clear, pragmatic, and robust legal advice in complex and sensitive matters, combining strong advocacy with strategic insight.
A Career Built on High‑Level Advocacy
Sarrah began her career in London within leading Legal 500 criminal defence firms. For over 15 years, she practised as both a Solicitor and Higher Rights Advocate, representing adults and young people in serious and complex criminal cases, including in the Old Bailey and the Court of Appeal.
Prosecution & Regulatory Expertise
In 2018, Sarrah joined the Crown Prosecution Service within the specialist Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RASSO) Unit. She later prosecuted on behalf of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), developing specialist expertise in criminal regulatory enforcement and coronial matters.
After relocating to Cumbria in 2021, Sarrah became a Senior Lawyer in local government, expanding her work in regulatory enforcement and private prosecutions.
