Latoya Atkinson

Trainee Solicitor

latoya

Latoya is a Trainee Solicitor at Richard Nelson LLP. She began her legal career in 2013 when she joined Cartwright King as a criminal defence paralegal. She spent the following years advising clients from their attendance at police station to assisting the solicitors and barristers with any subsequent Magistrates and Crown Court hearings.

Latoya joined Richard Nelson in 2021 to focus on the removal of police cautions and DBS appeals and referrals, supporting Mark Hopwell, one of the few solicitors in the country who specialises in helping those with professional, career and travel difficulties to return to a clean record.

Her experience has allowed her to apply her extensive knowledge to provide comprehensive advice and assistance to clients faced with old and minor brushes with the law hindering their ability to move forward.
