Leanne Hayward
Consultant Solicitor
Leanne qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has specialised in family law since this time. Leanne has experience in dealing with a wide range of legal issues for both married and unmarried couples including financial remedy proceedings, issues relating to children and domestic abuse injunctions.
In 2014, Leanne completed her foundation training in mediation and is now an accredited family mediator. In addition to her role as a consultant at Richard Nelson LLP she also has her own mediation practice in Shropshire assisting separated couples find mutually suitable resolutions to their issues in mediation.
Leanne is trained in ‘Resolution Together‘ which enables a couple to use the same lawyer to submit an application together to end their marriage. This is a new approach designed to enable a couple to separate more amicably.
Leanne prides herself on being empathetic and sensitive to her client’s needs taking a more collaborative approach assisting her clients where possible in avoiding expensive and protracted Court proceedings.
Leanne is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediators Association.
In her spare time, Leanne enjoys being active and spending time with her family, friends and her cocker spaniel, Mylo.
