Kimberley Hircock is an Education Solicitor within Richard Nelson LLP’s Education Law team. She has over 11 years of experience in this specialist field; supporting families and young people across England and Wales, to navigate the complexities of education law. Kimberley has a particular interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Kimberley advises on all aspects of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), including requests for statutory assessments, challenges to EHCP content, school placement issues, annual reviews, and appeals to the First tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability). She also assists clients with matters relating to school exclusions, disability discrimination, failures to provide educational provision, school admission appeals and disputes with local authorities.

Recognising the significant impact education disputes can have on children and families, Kimberley is committed to providing clear, practical advice and a supportive service tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. She takes pride in helping families to understand their rights and achieving the educational support and provision that their children require.
