Marjorie Creek
Consultant Solicitor
Marjorie Creek is a specialist private client solicitor. Before entering the law, she was a member of the Women’s Royal Naval Service and then qualified as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in the NHS. Practising in elderly care, community nursing, oncology, palliative care and epidemiology research, has given her many transferable skills, which ably assist her work in this specialist area of the law, particularly in advocating for vulnerable clients who may have communication difficulties and/or mental capacity issues.
Marjorie is able to take instructions both locally and nationally for settling Wills, safeguarding concerns, Lasting Powers of Attorneys, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, Care Fees and in matters where the relations between service users and care providers have broken down.
A fully accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (ALL) and a Legal 500 recommended lawyer, Marjorie was a partner and head of private client in a Devon firm, prior to joining Richard Nelson LLP.
Outside of work, she is a carer, Dementia Friend, Chair of the Board of Trustees for Age UK (Plymouth) and a member of the Plymouth Law Society Committee.
