Leading tax investigation and fraud lawyer, Mark Wilson, joins our Nottingham team
Mark Wilson, a nationally recognised financial crime, tax investigation and regulatory lawyer, has joined our Nottingham team at Richard Nelson LLP as we continue to strengthen our presence within the legal sector.
We are pleased to welcome Mark as he joins Richard Nelson LLP with over 25 years experience in heavyweight tax investigations, company prosecutions and private criminal cases. He is the latest senior appointment to our legal team since managing partner, Marie Dancer, was appointed the role in March.
Mark boasts an impressive portfolio of high profile cases he has handled, including former Portsmouth FC Chairman Milan Mandaric who was cleared of all charges in his tax investigation, alongside Harry Redknapp.
Mark Wilson began his career in law as a frontline criminal advocate in the 1980s before deciding to specialise in fraud investigations. He then joined Freeth Cartwright as a partner in 1990 and set up the firm’s white collar crime department.
Mark then co-founded Cartwright King and helped it grow to a major UK criminal defence firm, whilst he continued to manage a nationally recognised business defence team involved in fraud crime and tax investigation cases.
